If I have to give you any advice about reading this book it would be to dive into it not knowing. Honestly i dont think there are a lot of books that can beat It Ends With Us. The narration of the book is real and effective the whole book is written in a buttery-smooth language though the impact which it brings is too heavy to handle.
This book is so shallow and I physically cringed and made a face while reading it. Domestic violence not explicitly described but discussed given the topic of the book. After reading the novels blurb I dove into the book expecting a light-hearted story about an adult love triangle.
There were many moments throughout. Packed with riveting drama and painful truths this book powerfully illustrates the devastation of abuseand the strength of the survivors. The book starts the night of her dads funeral where she was supposed to give the eulogy but just stood up there and didnt say anything.

While I love me a rom-com I entirely acknowledge the fact that the perfect-as-can-be formulaic meet cutes that fill the big screen and cover the pages of most romance novels give women everywhere myself included unrealistic. In this book abuse is excused because of a rough past and she continues to take him back because of how misunderstood he must be. Her novel Ugly Love 2014 has been optioned for film by Hackybox Pictures and is slated to begin filming in 2016 starring Nick Bateman.
The novel follows an edgy but cute couple. This book showed me the insiders perspective to a terrifying situation and the rationale that women use to stay in unhealthy relationships it is never as easy as it seems. Lily Bloom an owner.
